SeginusMD Announces Partnership with MST Services
SeginusABC, an innovative software solution for behavioral care agencies, to be made available for licensed agencies applying Multi-Systemic Therapy treatment model
(November 3, 2008- Hamden, CT) SeginusMD, Inc., an innovative provider of comprehensive software solutions for behavioral care agencies, announced today that it has entered into a license agreement with MST Services of South Carolina.
Now, MST trademarks and service marks will be used to market the SeginusABC software application to MST licensees. MST Services and SeginusMD will collaborate to ensure that the software is consistent with the MST treatment model, and it adheres to the MST measures and outcomes tracking.
SeginusABC is specifically designed for therapists, clinical/systems supervisors and administrators at behavioral care agencies. The software assists therapists in maintaining fidelity to the Multi-Systemic Therapy treatment model and assists supervisors in tracking quality assurance through built-in tools.
The system is compatible with the web-based MST data collection and analysis system. Agencies can apply the software to goal-oriented treatment planning, replicating all aspects of the MST do-loop, creating customized weekly reports for compliance, and more. Further, SeginusABC will drastically reduce data entry duplication and man-hours, and enable MST licensed agencies to obtain payment from clients in a more timely fashion.

About MST Services
MST Services was formed in early 1996, in response to community requests for assistance in developing MST programs. Prior to 1996, support for communities interested in MST program development came from the staff of the main MST research group, the Family Services Research Center (FSRC) of the Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This research group is a fully grant-funded organization pursuing the development and validation of treatments for youth with serious clinical problems. The FSRC typically has several federally funded research projects at any time.
In the mid-1990's, the burden of disseminating the MST model to interested communities began to have a detrimental impact on the research productivity of the staff of the FSRC. With the support of the Medical University, the leadership of the FSRC embarked on a multi-year process to form a separate dissemination organization that would operate as an independent sister organization to the research center. These efforts led to the creation of MST Services as a private but university-affiliated and licensed organization.
